After spending more than 20 years driven to succeed in my career, I've learned some hard lessons about the importance of taking care of my body and mind. Eating out, working late, skipping workouts, and not taking care of myself became my norm by my early 30's and I ended up unhealthy, burnt out, and gained more than 30 lbs. in ONE year.
I finally hit my wall in 2004 and it was then that my amazing journey to health and wellness began. I continued building my corporate career as a senior executive in HR, but also made a commitment to establishing a much healthier balance between work and life.
I invested heavily in learning how to take better care of my body and mind. I obtained my Nutrition and Wellness Specialist Certification, became a Certified Coach Practitioner, Certified Weight Loss Practitioner, Certified Fitness Instructor - and also hired a fabulous Nutrition and Wellness Coach to help keep me accountable.
Within 6 months of hiring my wellness coach and completing my numerous coaching and nutrition certifications, I had lost those extra 30 pounds and learned how to take the very best care of my body and mind through proper nutrition, meal planning, physical activity and mindset work.
Armed with this new knowledge and support, I formulated a systematic approach that would accommodate my busy schedule and also help me to achieve my health, wellness and fitness goals. This formula created the foundation for my signature 6-week nutrition and wellness program called the Thrive4Life Formula TM.
It's been more than 12 years since my own personal transformation began, and since then, my focus has been on sharing proven best practices, tools and resources with my clients through my Thrive4Life Formula so they too can make their health and wellness a top priority.
As part of my journey, I learned how to create the body, mind and lifestyle of my dreams and finally came to believe that yes, having a successful career and being healthy, balanced and happy really IS possible.
My coaching programs, workshops and webinars help busy professionals design their best selves and find that motivation needed to finally achieve their most aspirational health and wellness goals - even after EVERY other attempt has failed.
My focus is on building customized programs for my clients that significantly improve their overall levels of health, happiness and well-being, and to also provide the tools and techniques necessary to maintaining it.
In addition to my 6-week Thrive4Life Formula, I also design workplace wellness programs for my corporate clients to help guide their employees to becoming their healthiest, happiest and most productive selves.
