After spending more than 20 years excelling professionally and driven to succeed in my career, I've learned some hard lessons about the importance of taking care of my body and mind. Eating out, working late, skipping workouts, and not taking care of myself became my norm by my early 30's and I ended up unhealthy, burnt out, and gained more than 30 lbs. in ONE year!
I finally hit my wall in 2004 and it was then that my amazing journey to health and wellness began. I continued building my corporate career as a senior executive in HR, but also made a total commitment to establishing a much healthier balance between work and life.
I invested heavily in learning how to take better care of my body and mind. I obtained my Nutrition and Wellness Specialist Certification, became a Certified Coach Practitioner, Certified Fitness Instructor - and also hired a fabulous Health and Wellness Coach.
Armed with this new knowledge and support, I formulated a plan that would accommodate my busy schedule and also help me reach my health and fitness goals.
Within 6 months of hiring my coach, I had lost those extra 30 pounds and learned how to take the very best care of myself through proper meal planning, physical fitness and mindset work. I ultimately created the body, mind and lifestyle of my dreams and finally believed that yes, having a successful career and being healthy and balanced actually IS possible!
It's been more than 12 years since my own personal transformation began, and since then, my focus has been on sharing proven best practices and tools with fellow career professionals so they can finally make personal health and wellness a priority and a reality.
My coaching programs, workshops and webinars help busy professionals design their best selves and finally find that motivation to truly achieve their health and wellness goals - even after EVERY other attempt has failed! And I strongly subscribe to "micro-habits" - because they work!
I build highly customized programs for my clients and their teams that significantly improve overall health and well-being, while also providing the tools and techniques necessary to maintaining it. I offer a variety of services to help my clients achieve healthier bodies and minds and ultimately reach their wellness goals in a simple and systematic way.
I also design customized workplace wellness programs for my corporate clients and help guide their employees to becoming their healthiest, happiest and most productive selves.
